Job Overview

Our client is looking for an automotive body technician to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for international applicants, with opportunities available for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $37.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Overtime available
• Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities

• File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
• Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
• Repair or replace interior components
• Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs
• Mix paint, blend and match colors
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
