Responsibilities

• Review individual and group applications for insurance
• Evaluate new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, premiums, and coverage conditions
• Use medical reports, rate tables, and other documents to determine coverage
• Ensure compliance with government regulations
• Provide recommendations on insurance plan designs
• Answer inquiries from clients and company personnel
• Prepare underwriting reports

Qualifications

Education

• College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years in insurance

Technical Knowledge

• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

• Liability insurance
