Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager, Restaurant who will play a key role in daily operations. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: 1835 Regent St, Unit 1, Sudbury, ON, P3E 3Z7
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $36.00 hourly / 30 to 32 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Or equivalent experience

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily operations
• Monitor staff performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Set staff work schedules
• Supervise and train staff
• Balance cash and complete related forms
• Conduct performance reviews
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Provide excellent customer service

Supervision Responsibilities

• 1 to 2 people
• 3-4 people
• 5-10 people
• Various staff in different areas of responsibility
