Job Details
Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager for their restaurant. This position is suitable for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified applicants.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate daily operations
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Monitor staff performance
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Recruit staff and set staff work schedules
- Supervise and train staff
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Conduct performance reviews
- Cost products and services
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Provide customer service
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Supervision
- Supervise more than 20 staff members
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Language: English

Salary and Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 annually for 38.5 hours per week
- Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
