Join our client as an Assistant Manager at their restaurant. This role includes responsibilities such as analyzing budgets, developing cost plans, evaluating daily operations, and supervising staff. Job Details

• Location: 337 King Ave E, Newcastle, ON, L1B 1H4
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $25.00 hourly, 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies
• Evaluate daily operations and modify food preparation methods
• Monitor revenues and staff performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Recruit, supervise, and train staff
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Participate in marketing plans and address customer complaints
• Manage events and provide customer service

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Languages: English
• Transportation: Own transportation required

Work Environment

The role is in a fast-paced environment that requires working under pressure with tight deadlines. The job will entail repeated tasks that are physically demanding.
