Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager for a Restaurant, offering immigration support for qualified applicants, including candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $36.00 hourly, 30 to 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
• Evaluate daily operations.
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
• Monitor staff performance.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Recruit staff.
• Set staff work schedules.
• Supervise staff and train staff.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Address customer complaints or concerns.
• Provide customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate/diploma (1-2 years).
• Experience: 1 to less than 2 years.
• Certificates: Safe Food Handling certificate.
• Languages: English.
