Join Our Client as an Art Director

Our client is looking for an Art Director to join the Monopoly GO! Game team, working on a hybrid basis in various studios or remotely within specific European countries. We can support with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance, if needed.

What You Will Do

You will work collaboratively with a team of artists, designers, producers, and product managers to explore, iterate, and set a clear visual direction. Responsibilities include:

• Managing the art team and aligning with the vision set by the VP of Art.
• Facilitating collaboration across multiple art disciplines: 2D, UI, 3D, Animation, and VFX.
• Leading the Live Operation vertical group as the key visual leader.
• Aligning with the VP of Product to execute various strategies.
• Contributing to studio-level planning with the executive producer.
• Ensuring all creative material aligns with the game vision and meets high-quality standards.
• Supporting the brand through creative designs and unique experiences.
• Setting clear art direction inclusive of innovative vision and creative flair.
• Driving an art culture that maximizes team potential and collaboration.
• Leading creative brainstorms to identify solutions and direction.
• Managing the art team’s health, including morale and training.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio showcasing a whimsical art style and experience in managing a group of artists. We’re looking for:

• Excellent English language skills for leading an international team.
• Experience managing large groups of artists across disciplines.
• Proven experience in a key art leadership role (Associate AD or above).
• Experience developing social games on mobile platforms, preferably in casual gaming.
• An eye for detail with expert-level judgment in art quality.
• Flexibility, motivation, and approachability.
• Understanding of how game art/visual design supports gameplay and marketing.
• Ability to disseminate artistic vision throughout the studio and provide feedback.

Bonus Points

• Experience working on beloved intellectual properties.
• Having shipped a game.
• Knowledge of working with Unity.
