Your Opportunity

Our client has an opportunity for an intermediate Aquatic Ecotoxicologist to join their Aquatics team in Burnaby, British Columbia. The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree focused on aquatic ecotoxicology, with several years of applied research or consulting experience and strong analytical and writing skills. Familiarity with contaminants like metals (notably mercury and selenium), hydrocarbons, and others in aquatic environments is preferred.

This role will support aquatic ecological risk assessments, environmental effects assessments, and ecotoxicological modeling, among other responsibilities. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment, with the opportunity to apply their scientific expertise while advancing their career.

Education and Experience

Applicants should be registered with the British Columbia College of Applied Biology as an RBTech or RPBio, or be eligible to apply for registration. A PhD or Master’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in aquatic ecotoxicology is preferred.

Salary and Benefits

Pay Range:

• Locations in Lower Mainland – BC – Min Salary $79,200.00 – Max Salary $114,800.00
