Overview

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing bee colonies and diagnosing livestock health issues. The role involves maintaining the bee yard and beekeeping equipment, as well as the operation and maintenance of farm machinery.

Education and Experience

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Diagnose livestock health issues.
• Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
• Harvest crops and manage bee colonies for honey production.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Detect disease and health problems in crops and livestock.

Work Environment

• Dusty, hot, noisy, wet/damp, and cold/refrigerated conditions.
• Rural area setting with physical demands including heavy lifting and the ability to work under pressure.

Transportation

• Public transportation is not available.

• Team player with efficient interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and reliability are essential.
