Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Agricultural Equipment Technician who will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing various types of agricultural equipment. This position may offer immigration support for overseas candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Medicine Hat, AB
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $38.50 to $41.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, full-time
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week
• Special Commitments: Day, overtime available
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Maintain maintenance reports and documentation.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and adherence to specifications.
• Attach components and adjust new farm equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance tasks.
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
• Manage routine maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience: 3 to less than 5 years preferred.
• Languages: English

Work Environment

• Work must be completed on-site.
• Environment may be dusty and noisy.
