Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate seminars and conferences
• Coordinate the flow of information within the team
• Direct staff and evaluate daily operations
• Motivate staff and manage contracts
• Open and distribute mail and other materials
• Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
• Establish and implement policies and procedures
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Answer electronic inquiries and oversee communication strategies
• Compile data and prepare reports
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory
• Arrange travel and manage itineraries
• Greet people and direct them to service areas
• Maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and provide customer service
• Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

Qualifications

Education

• College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Skills and Knowledge

• Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experienced with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and project management tools
• Knowledge of legal, engineering, financial, and business terminologies

Personal Suitability

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, adaptable, and a quick learner
