Our client is looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant to join their team in Calgary, AB. Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and related events.
• Establish and implement office policies and procedures.
• Record and prepare minutes of meetings and conferences.
• Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
• Plan and develop recruitment strategies.
• Manage contracts and handle contractual inquiries.
• Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
• Compile data and statistics for reports.
• Respond to employee questions and complaints.
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
• Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants.
• Organize staff consultations and grievance procedures.
• Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations.
• Set up and maintain filing systems.
• Type and proofread correspondence and documents.
• Work with the marketing department to communicate marketing messages.
• Maintain and manage the digital database.
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Evaluate work environments and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
• Language: English proficiency required.
