Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a permanent, full-time position. We provide support for international applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 7 Selby Rd, Brampton, ON, L6W 1K5
• Salary: $36.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Workplace Information: On site

• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Morning shifts

Responsibilities

• Open and distribute mail and other materials
• Train other workers
• Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
• Determine and establish office procedures and routines
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
• Answer electronic inquiries
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory
• Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
• Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
• Perform data entry
• Provide customer service
• Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
• Maintain and manage digital database

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related role
• Languages: English
