Job Overview

Our client is seeking a bookkeeper for a permanent, full-time position. The role is on-site in Coquitlam, BC and is suitable for applicants who require visa sponsorship.

Job Details

• Salary: $26.11 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
• Vacancy: 1

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
• Maintain financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• Post journal entries.
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• Prepare tax returns.
• Prepare trial balance of books.
• Reconcile accounts.

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
• Language Requirements: English
