Job Details

• Location: Port Hawkesbury, NS, Canada
• Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour (negotiable)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Environment: On-site
• Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week; includes shifts during days, evenings, nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Perform body care and treatments.
• Conduct permanent hair removal and laser hair removal services.
• Advise clients on beauty products suited to their skin types.
• Perform a range of treatments including facials, glycolic acid applications, and skin peels.
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations.
• Provide customer service and product demonstrations.
• Handle cashiering duties.
• Refer clients with unusual skin conditions to physicians.

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP diploma or a related program (1-2 years) or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in esthetics.
• Required Licenses: Skin care specialist’s provincial license, laser electrologist certification.

Personal Skills

• Detail-oriented with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
