Warehouse & Sales Associate

Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse & Sales Associate to join their team, specializing in area rugs and home décor. This dynamic role allows you to work both in a warehouse and on the sales floor.

Job Details

Location: Edmonton, AB
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Hours of Operation

• Monday – Friday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating computer programs and wireless handheld devices.
• Moving and handling products accurately.
• Knowledgeable in MS Excel, inventory, and invoice preparation.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Complying with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations.
• Assisting customers on the sales floor with product knowledge, recommendations, and transactions.
• Maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate must:

• Be 18 years of age or older due to the nature of work.
• Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule and additional hours if needed.
• Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25 lbs-50 lbs (up to 75 lbs occasionally).

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license (if required for company vehicle use).
• Prior warehouse experience is an asset.
