Our client is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with potential immigration support available for qualified candidates. This position may be suitable for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Edmonton, AB
• Salary: $30.45 hourly
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

• Conditions: Day shifts available

Responsibilities

• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• Post journal entries.
• Prepare tax returns.
• Prepare trial balance of books.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 to 3 years in bookkeeping
• Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
• Language: English
