• Salary: $60,000 to $65,000 annually (To be negotiated)

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information and other relevant details

Credentials

• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

Experience and Specialization

• Documentation knowledge including Bill of lading, Driver logbook, Inspection report, and Trip reports
• Type of trucking and equipment: Tractor-trailer
• Communication systems experience including GPS operation
• Transportation/travel experience: Long-haul

Additional Information

• Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check, Drug test
• Work conditions: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks
• Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
