Join us as a Long Haul Truck Driver in various locations across Canada. We welcome applications from all candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Delta, BC
• Salary: $36.60 hourly
• Work Hours: 50 to 60 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 5

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Professionalism in customer service.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks.
• Load and unload goods.
• Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect equipment.
• Pay and receive payments for goods.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections.
• Relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure safety and security of cargo.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.

Qualifications

• Certificates, Licenses: Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience: Will train.

Work Environment

Work must be completed at the physical location. Remote work is not an option.
