Job Details

• Location: 235 Charlotte St, Sydney, NS, B1P 1C4
• Workplace Information: On site
• Salary: $25.00 hourly, 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Maintain financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Reconcile accounts

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Computer Knowledge: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word
