Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Cook for a restaurant setting. We are open to applications from international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered.

• Salary: $18.50 per hour / 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations

Requirements

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: English
