Responsibilities

• Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Maintain daycare equipment.
• Engage children in storytelling and crafts.
• Support early childhood educators in implementing developmental programs.
• Assist in record-keeping and submit written observations about children.
• Discuss children’s progress during staff meetings.
• Prepare snacks and set up rooms for activities.
• Guide children in developing healthy habits.
• Possess food safety and handling skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
• Certificates: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, CPR Certificate
• Safety Requirements: Immunization records, Tuberculosis test, Vulnerable sector check
