Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Supervisor for their Food Services department. This full-time, permanent position includes overseeing food preparation and service at a fast food outlet. Immigration support may be offered for overseas candidates.

Job Details

• Location: 155 Church St., Antigonish, NS, B2G 2E2
• Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
• Work Hours: 35 to 45 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Evening, Night, Weekend shifts

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules

Supervision

• 5-10 people
• Food service counter attendants and food preparers
