Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. This position offers the opportunity for visa sponsorship for international applicants. Candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, are encouraged to apply.

Job Details

• Location: Oakville, ON
• Salary: $34.07 hourly for 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Work Setting: On site

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
• Estimate costs and materials
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
• Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Installing machinery and equipment
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Language: English
