Visa Sponsorship Available! Our client is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join their team. This position is open to international applicants, with opportunities for LMIA visa jobs in Canada.

Job Details

• Location: Windsor, ON
• Salary: $36.10 per hour (37.5 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Workplace Information: On site
• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Morning

Responsibilities

• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
• Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Prepare floors for installations
• Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
• Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces
• Perform direct glue-down carpet installations
• Perform double-bond carpet installations

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Languages: English (Asset languages: Hindi, Panjabi)
