Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
• Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line

Experience and Specialization

• Type of Materials: Steel, iron and heavy metals
• Welding Techniques: Multipass
• Equipment and Machinery Experience: Gas welding machine
• Area of Specialization: Structural construction, Factory assembly

Additional Information

• Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation required
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Heavy lifting, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail
• Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) to more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
