Job Opportunity: Apprentice Carpenter with Visa Sponsorship Available

Job Details

• Location: Whistler, BC
• Salary: $36.60 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years preferred.
• Languages: English

Work Environment

• Work must be completed at the physical location; remote work is not an option.
• Work site environment includes heights, confined spaces, noisy and dusty conditions, outdoors.
• Physical capabilities include bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.

Tools and Equipment

• Own tools/equipment required: Tools, safety equipment/gear, steel-toed safety boots.
