Overview

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience: Will train.

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks.
• Obtain special permits and required documents for transporting cargo on international routes.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Pay and receive payments for goods.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.

Credentials

• AZ class license required.

Additional Information

• Security and Safety: Criminal record check and driver’s validity license check required.
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, large workload, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and sitting.
• Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, hardworking, and patient.
