Kitchen Manager Position

Our client is seeking a Kitchen Manager with some duties as a cook. Visa sponsorship opportunities are available for international applicants, including candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: 10028 101 St, Peace River, AB, T8S 2A5
• Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 hourly (to be negotiated), 35 to 44 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Work Conditions: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres

Qualifications

Education

• College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

Experience

• 3 to less than 5 years in a relevant field

Certificates

• Food Safety Certificate
• ProServe program
• Safe Food Handling certificate
