Job Overview

Position: Food Service Supervisor

Location: 1708 Davie St, Vancouver, BC, V6G 1W2

Responsibilities:

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
• Establish work schedules

Work Environment

Work Setting: Various locations, Restaurant

Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, attention to detail

Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Languages: English

Salary and Employment Conditions

Salary: $56,260 to $58,000 annually (negotiable)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
