About the Role

As a National Channel Manager, you will develop and implement sales strategies, achieve monthly sales targets, and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers on a national level for Walmart business.

What You’ll Do

• Meet/over-deliver assigned forecast targets.
• Develop and execute channel-specific joint business plans aligned with corporate goals.
• Create and execute promotions based on ROI and historical performance.
• Develop product launch plans and presentations tailored to customer objectives.
• Ensure adherence to marketplace pricing guidelines.
• Build robust business relationships with customers as a trusted partner.
• Attend trade shows/national meetings as required.
• Forecast sales and manage trade spend budgets.
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Build relationships with C&G channels and distributor networks.
• Navigate foodservice buyers and high-volume accounts.
• Tailor execution strategies by channel and customer vertical.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business (equivalent experience accepted).
• 4+ years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales experience.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in IRI and Nielsen data.
• Experience in ROI-driven decision-making and effective negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability in national account management.
• Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Creative and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Cultural alignment with the brand.
• Ownership mentality and proactive engagement.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 CAD/year, adjusted based on factors such as location and experience. This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
