Our client has an opportunity for an energetic, passionate, and experienced Registered Nurse looking for a change in how care is delivered. In this role, you will utilize your robust communication skills, extensive nursing knowledge, and diverse work background. As an essential part of this provincial health team, you will be responsible for providing telephone triage services, offering health advice and information to callers across Alberta. The mission is to deliver care and reliable advice, connecting individuals to the appropriate care, provided by the right healthcare professional at the right location.
Utilizing clinical software, diverse databases, and clinical protocols, you will evaluate, triage, and counsel patients dealing with intricate concerns. Your exceptional patient focus, clinical nursing expertise, and assessment skills will enable you to deliver high-quality and precise health advice and information within a contact care setting. The role requires active listening, problem-solving abilities, and relevant questioning to assist callers. Analytical and critical thinking skills are crucial in determining the best care for Albertans. You will thrive in an engaging environment, helping a diverse range of patients respectfully and sensitively.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations while ensuring their safety and well-being. You will utilize nursing processes through critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, as well as teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of our client.
Provisional Permit Holders shall be paid $39.58 /hour – $54.16/hour. Upon being entered into the register of Registered Nurses, the rate of pay shall be adjusted to the applicable rate for a Registered Nurse.
