Your Opportunity:

Description:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations while ensuring their safety and well-being. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Additionally, you will teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance. You will deliver safe, quality, patient, and family-centered care while reflecting our client’s vision and values.

Compensation:
Provisional Permit Holders shall be paid $39.58 /hour – $54.16/hour. Upon being registered as a Registered Nurse, the pay will be adjusted according to the applicable rates.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of required free courses is necessary.

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated excellent attendance record and reliability through employment references.
• Physically able to perform all assigned tasks, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of Home Care experience within the last 5 years of nursing preferred.
• Experience with Meditech, Service Authorizations, RAI-HC, Netcare, and AADLs.
• Experience in wound care, client teaching, and palliative support.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and ability to work in a collaborative team demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
