Job Overview

Our client is seeking candidates for a position that allows applications from various backgrounds, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Responsibilities

• Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
• Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
• Repair roofing systems
• Instruct apprentices
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience required
