The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our client’s health center offers the opportunity to work to full scope of practice and develop nursing skills across multiple areas. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide family-focused nursing care. The town is a small yet busy location in east central Alberta, featuring various recreational facilities, including a brand-new arena, sports facilities, ball diamonds, and more. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Your practice will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level, and our client’s policies and procedures. You will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, quality patient and family-centered care aligned with the organization’s shared vision and values.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)

• As required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year recent Acute Care experience.
