Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Hairdressing Salon Manager. Visa sponsorship may be available for international applicants, including candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. This position is located in Vancouver, BC.

Job Details

• Location: 1030 Denman Street, Vancouver, BC, V6G 2M6
• Salary: $36.60 hourly, 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Work Setting: On-site at a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
• Supervision: 3-4 staff members
• Work Conditions: Attention to detail, public transportation available

Responsibilities

• Direct and control daily operations
• Evaluate daily operations
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff
• Plan and control budget and inventory
• Hire, train and supervise staff
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: English
