What You’ll Be Doing

Our client’s Global Markets business focuses on delivering expert financial and economic analysis and savvy deal-making capabilities to clients in Canada and around the world. The Global Markets team supports fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, derivatives, equities, and growth markets and is focused on building a strong, innovative relationship-oriented bank.

Within the Global Markets, the Alternate Solutions Group (ASG) was launched in 2013 with a mandate to develop innovative and creative technology-driven capital markets solutions. This group combines the innovative spirit of a FinTech startup with the financial strength and strong governance protocol of a major financial institution.

We are hiring a senior people leader to drive our cross-border transaction business, including value-added services like Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) – a key product offering within the ASG team. Since its inception, the DCC product team has established partnerships with over 30 financial institutions, enabling this white-label solution on more than 100,000 ATMs worldwide.

In this role, you will bring high energy and an entrepreneurial spirit to help grow our DCC business. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will be part of a dynamic, hardworking, and execution-focused product team. Your key responsibilities will include:

How You’ll Succeed

Business Planning and Management:
You will play a key part in business planning and management to meet performance and revenue targets aligned with the overall ASG plan.

Leading with Authenticity:
You will manage, support, and mentor a team of five direct reports, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Managing Client Relationships:
You will focus on managing client relationships and collaborating across cross-functional teams to drive success.

Advancing Sales Pipeline:
You will advance the sales pipeline by driving new client acquisition and furthering our mandate through proactive engagement with prospects.

Who You Are

You have completed an undergraduate university degree in business, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics), or a related field; an MBA is an asset.
