Your Opportunity:

Unit 35 is a unique opportunity to provide care as a Licensed Practical Nurse on a neurology/stroke and physical rehabilitation unit. Working as part of a team that includes Nursing and Allied Health disciplines, the LPN on Unit 35 plays a key role in helping patients work toward previous functioning with the goal of returning patients to their homes and families.

Description:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level, and policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of our client.

• Shift Pattern: Nights, Weekends
• Days Off: As Per Rotation
• Minimum Salary: $27.58
• Maximum Salary: $36.13

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

As required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with neurology and stroke preferred. Experience working in rehabilitation preferred.
