About the Role

As part of our Shared Services group, which includes Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal, and Facilities, the Campus Talent Acquisition Specialist for the Western Canada region will play a critical role in attracting diverse talent and developing talent pipelines through co-ops, internships, and new graduate opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the campus strategy, providing high-volume full-cycle recruiting support across the Western Canada region.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for educational institutions and the business.
• Plan and participate in campus events including Career Fairs, Information Sessions, Case competitions, Classroom presentations, and Conferences.
• Act as a trusted advisor and work closely with internal stakeholders to establish a tailored recruiting approach at designated school(s) to meet skill requirements.
• Serve as a “Brand Ambassador” to enhance our external presence and build the company brand through social media and other channels.
• Execute Student and New Grad Engagement model to improve employee experience.
• Assess sponsorship requests and determine the level of engagement.
• Manage scholarship programs.
• Provide reporting on campus analytics.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of full-cycle, high-volume campus recruitment experience, preferably for engineering or technical students and graduates.
• Current knowledge and understanding of best practices in campus recruitment.
• College or university degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset, always striving to enhance candidate, client, and recruiter experiences.
• Experience defining and tracking success and KPIs on campus program initiatives.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through skills.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of key business drivers.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly.
• Ability to think and act strategically while executing specifics alongside the team.
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and coaching diverse individuals.
