Job Overview

We’re hiring a Property Accountant to support a portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties. This role offers a strong work-life balance with a hybrid schedule and the chance to grow within a prestigious organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports
• Manage reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting journal entries
• Analyze budget vs. actuals and support in the preparation of annual budgets
• Collaborate with property managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
• Maintain up-to-date records for tenant billings, CAM recoveries, and lease terms

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2-4 years of property accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Hopem)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
