Job Opportunity in Mining

Join our client’s Mining Department as a Grader Operator, where you will contribute to achieving goals while upholding values such as safety and environmental respect. Immigration support may be available for qualified applicants.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate grader equipment underground.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Inspect the working environment by scaling rocks.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met.
• Operate other underground equipment, including the scoop.
• Obtain certification on additional equipment as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• NAC Certification or DEP in Mineral Extraction, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Grader Operator.
• Minimum of 4000 hours of experience on graders.
• Valid approval letter under explosives regulations or equivalent, such as explosive permit.
• Underground certification or equivalent, such as Mining Modules and Common Core considered an asset.
• Mining engineering plan reading skills.
• Certification on other equipment in the production category considered an asset.
• Physical requirements to perform the job.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written).

Your Work Schedule

• Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest.
• Accommodations and meals provided on site at no cost to the employee. Our client offers charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate other travelling expenses based on your location of residence in Canada.
