About the Position

This position builds and manages the corporate revenue pipeline for us, including prospect identification, qualification, outreach, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. We are open to offering this role as a permanent full-time opportunity for an early-to-mid-career professional with 3-5 years of experience or as a part-time role for someone with more experience or those seeking greater flexibility in their work schedule. In either case, the Senior Manager, Corporate Giving and Partnerships will work closely with the Director of Development & Campaigns to implement the annual strategy to increase and diversify revenue from corporate sources, including sponsorship, management of corporate partnerships, and corporate donations.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Development & Campaigns, the major functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with the Director of Development & Campaigns to implement strategies to increase corporate revenue
• Build the pipeline of potential corporate partners
• Identify and qualify prospects, and build relationships with corporate contacts by setting up and conducting meetings
• Develop and implement effective cultivation and solicitation strategies
• Create unique proposals designed to deliver marketing-oriented benefits that meet sponsor objectives
• Deliver on sponsorship obligations such as marketing-related recognition, signage, etc.
• Prepare and submit formal fulfilment reports two weeks following the conclusion of a sponsorship agreement
• Work with board members to identify prospects within their networks
• Along with the Manager, Special Events, execute unique corporate hospitality and client entertaining opportunities
• Manage a range of sponsorship programs, including the development of events and opportunities that engage and strengthen connection with our members
• Achieve revenue targets, work within pre-approved expense budgets, and track monthly expenses
• Steward and grow the entry-level corporate donations program with a focus on client hosting opportunities

In addition, relationship-building with corporate partners is a key function of this position, and although the focus is corporate development, the expectation is that the incumbent will take every opportunity to build relationships with individual donors and board members.

• Performance and event duty as required, to welcome and thank individual, corporate and foundation donors
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development & Campaigns, the Executive Director, or the Artistic Director
• Maintain professionalism, show flexibility, demonstrate sound judgment, and handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
