Job Opportunity: RV Detailer

Are you looking for a great opportunity to work with one of the largest RV dealers in the industry? Interested in developing or advancing your career? We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join us as an RV Detailer at our Cookstown, ON dealership. This is a Full-Time, Seasonal position.

Job Duties

• Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of RVs part of the rental fleet.
• Perform general detailing activities, including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and washing.
• Drive RVs in the dealership lot.
• Mix cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, or other compounds/solutions according to formulas.
• Operate cleaning equipment or machines.
• Use a variety of handheld tools.
• Notify the manager or appropriate technician when you notice parts of an RV that require repair or replacement.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract is an asset.
• Must be dependable, possess strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in the RV sector, including washing and cleaning vehicles, is an asset.
• Interest in RVs and knowledge about RV repair and maintenance is an asset.

Work Conditions

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Shift work may be required, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
• Overtime may be required.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and to bend, twist, push, pull, and carry equipment and supplies.
• Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required, including shoveling snow, operating equipment, and moving parts/supplies.
