Position Overview

The Insights & Analytics Specialist is part of the Business Excellence & Strategy Team and reports directly to the Strategy & Market Insights Associate Director. This position will support the Sales & Marketing Excellence and Data Analytics capabilities by developing and delivering customer and market reports and insights that foster effective decision-making to achieve organizational goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver analyses, reports, and dashboards presenting key performance indicators (KPIs) for business decision-making.
• Track business performance, identify opportunities, and evaluate how effectively organizational goals are being met.
• Create compelling narratives and data storytelling to convey results and insights, highlighting key business implications and actionable recommendations.
• Understand business needs and design suitable reporting and analytical solutions on a quarterly, monthly, weekly, or ad hoc basis.
• Monitor significant industry trends and dynamics, identifying topics for further analysis or exploration.
• Maintain and update dashboard and reporting solutions as per evolving business needs and stakeholder feedback.
• Manage project milestones and coordinate with team members to ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Collaborate with external vendors and align with key internal stakeholders.

Education and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in market research, data analytics, and managing data-heavy projects.
• Advanced skills in Excel, statistics, and visualization tools such as Spotfire, PowerBI, or Tableau.
• Proficiency in synthesizing data sets and translating findings into business recommendations.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings clearly.
• English is mandatory; French is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage and influence decision-makers.
• Experience in healthcare, consumer goods, or pharmaceutical industry is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in Strategic Planning and Agile methodologies is an advantage.

Work Environment

In line with our client’s Hybrid Workplace Strategy, this position will be performed through a combination of remote work and in-person at the Kirkland Head Office, based on the nature of work.
