The candidate for 4C is one who has a strong interest in acute medicine. We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our unit that truly believes in patient and family-centered care, as well as working in a supportive, caring, and fun environment. 4C is a 32-bed medical unit specializing in the care of acute medicine patients. A candidate who can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient and family-focused nursing care is required, employing critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level, and our client’s policies and procedures, alongside receiving the necessary education for the role. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of our client. New grads are welcome to apply.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Acute care experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PD training and stroke experience preferred.
