Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist

We are excited to announce an opportunity with our client, a community-based Pediatric Community Rehabilitation Program operating out of several sites across Calgary and surrounding areas. We are seeking a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist who is passionate about working with children. In this role, you will provide assessment and intervention services independently and as part of an inter-professional team. This position may offer immigration support for qualified candidates seeking to work in Canada.

Job Description

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be involved in:

• Providing clinical professional practice both independently and in teamwork with external partners.
• Delivery of prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management.
• Planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and partners.
• Supervising students and offering clinical guidance to other staff as needed.
• Contributing to ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development through your clinical expertise.

• Minimum Salary: $43.38
• Maximum Salary: $57.63

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Therapist Assistants.
• Experience supervising students.
• Recent experience working with a pediatric population (within the last 2 years).
• Experience with children with ASD is considered an asset.
