Our client is seeking Registered Nurses to become part of their team at The Gardens at Qualicum Beach in Qualicum Beach, B.C. We offer exciting opportunities for those who want to make a difference in the lives of seniors.

Note: Bonus amounts presented are based on full-time employment. Part-time employees would earn a pro-rata amount.

Shifts and Wage

Shifts: PT 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, 4 on 2 off or 5 on 2 off

Wage: As per the BCNU provincial agreement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Handle resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Conduct resident assessments and care planning
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care
• Proficiently use electronic documentation (PointClickCare) and MDS Assessments
• Liaise with physicians, families, and other care team members
• Delegate tasks to unregulated care providers

Charge Nurse Responsibilities

Participate in care conferences and medication reviews.

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with BCCNM
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Competent in electronic documentation and eMar
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
• COVID vaccination certificate
