Our client is seeking a talented Project Program Cybersecurity Manager to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge field, shaping the cybersecurity framework of critical transportation systems.

Your Future Role

As the Project Program Cybersecurity Manager, you will leverage your cybersecurity and engineering expertise to ensure safety and resilience in a rapidly evolving industry. Collaborating with innovative teammates, you will manage cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities across various business functions.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Analyzing security needs, determining objectives, and strategizing main security risks.
• Planning security activities within the development life cycle and estimating costs and duration.
• Managing the cost, quality, and delay of cybersecurity deliverables as per project context.
• Cascading requirements to suppliers and managing third-party risks.
• Defining cybersecurity operating procedures and evaluating project/program cybersecurity levels.
• Supporting technical design meetings for cybersecurity activities.
• Managing vulnerabilities, communication, and reporting on program cybersecurity status.
• Establishing relationships with auditors during external cybersecurity audits.
• Promoting the organization’s code of ethics and maintaining high standards of ethical conduct.

Performance Measurements

• No “NO GO” for cybersecurity reasons during gate reviews.
• Quality and timely delivery of cybersecurity deliverables.
• Achievement of targeted cybersecurity levels in programs.
• Low rework due to assessments and effective vulnerability management.

All About You

Our client values passion and attitude over extensive experience. They are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Hands-on architecture, design, and development experience (mandatory).
• Experience in cybersecurity and deployment of security technologies (mandatory).
• Project management experience (mandatory).
• 8+ years in delivering safety-critical systems (mandatory).
• 3-5 years with standards such as IEC-62443, CLC/TC 50701, APTA (mandatory).
• Cybersecurity analysis experience on industrial control systems (mandatory).
• Experience with cyber certification for industrial control systems in a lead role (mandatory).
• Embedded or operational technology experience in railway/aeronautics.
• P.Eng certified.

Competencies & Skills

• Engineering background.
• Knowledge of key cybersecurity standards such as ISO 2700X, 62443, NIST, APTA.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions and methods for risk analysis.
• Understanding of systems and networks architecture concepts.
• Certification in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
