Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Maintain financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns
• Post journal entries
• Prepare statistical and accounting reports
• Reconcile accounts

Experience and Specialization

5 years or more of bookkeeping experience is required.

Computer and Technology Knowledge

• Quick Books
• Spreadsheet
• Sage Accounting Software
• Computerized bookkeeping systems

Security and Safety

• Basic security clearance
• Criminal record check
