Position: Food Service Supervisor

• Location: Grande Prairie, AB
• Work Setting: On-site at a fast food outlet
• Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 hourly (to be negotiated)
• Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address customer complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.

Supervision

• Supervise 3-4 staff members including cooks, food service attendants, and kitchen helpers.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced and physically demanding work environment.
• Must work under pressure and stand for extended periods.

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
• Languages: Proficiency in English.
